Mental health services are provided to the preschool programs for the benefit of the children, their families and the staff. Consultants work directly with identified children, their parents and the staff to effectively deal with issues of behavior, emotional and social development. The services are free of charge to the enrolled families.
We collaborate with other childcare and mental health agencies as part of our commitment to developing a comprehensive program. City funding was obtained for childcare subsidies for low income families, staff training, family services and resources, and on-site mental health consultation for our children and their families.
