Our preschool programs provide hot breakfast and lunch as well as nutritious snacks in the morning and afternoon.

Our philosophy is to help children enjoy eating a variety of foods and to encourage them to try new foods. We try to incorporate a multicultural menu consisting of mainly Asian cuisine. When we focus on another culture such as Latin-American or African-American, the children help to make a special lunch which is based on meals of that culture.

Lunch and Snacks Sandwiches Cook Anna with Sandwiches for the Kids

We are fortunate to have very experienced cooks at NLF, who are familiar with what the children enjoy eating. Through the years, we have had many parents request our secret salad dressing recipe because their child will not eat salad at home unless it tastes like the one at school. Other favorite meals of the children include Chicken Balls, Spaghetti, and Chicken Teriyaki to name a few.

Needless to say, the children and staff eat well at NLF.

  • Stickers
  • Balloons
  • Raisins
  • Pencils
  • Erasers
  • Mini notebooks
  • Rice crackers (arare crackers)
