Job
Description
- Plan and execute educational program for preschool-age children that develops children’s Japanese language skills and kindergarten readiness.
- Supervise the safety, health and welfare of the children at all times.
- Develop overall curriculum
- Conduct child assessments and parent-teacher conferences, and assist site manager with other necessary duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Child Development, Education or English

Description
- General
supervision of preschool-aged children (2 1/2 - 5 years) in a Japanese
bilingual and multicultural childcare center
- Must
be available in the morning and/or afternoon
Qualifications
- Responsible
individuals a must
- Previous
experience working with young children or elementary aged children
preferred

Educational background in Early Childhood Education preferred
- If
you do not have prior experience working with young children, but
are very interested in becoming a substitute teacher, we require that
you volunteer for a period of time until you become familiar with
our routine and program.
Salary
and Benefits
- $10.00 - $ 12.00 per hour based on experience and/or education
- Substitutes
are paid monthly
